I am considering taking over marketing for my sister's eBook and probably the bound book as well. A LOT of work has already been completed including eBook formatting, book printing, professional 3 and 7 minute YouTube commercials, dedicated website...and more. The thing is, nobody in her clan seems to have been able to do the marketing for this beautiful, award-winning child's book so this whole opportunity is just, um, sitting there....languishing.
I think there is an opportunity for me. I would learn all the ins and outs of eBook marketing (instantly and overnight, of course) and would do the marketing. I can probably write my own deal.
I would like help in determining what would be a fair deal because as everyone knows, there is a lot of work to be done, and it doesn't happen overnight. I invite any and all feedback.
Thank you.

Hey, Dr. You could consider starting at Amazon.com (or UK, depending on your location). Amazon sells a lot of ebooks.
One advantage to doing this would be that Amazon is highly trusted site where millions of people go, which could possibly give your sister's eBook very high exposure. Another advantage would be that they set up the payment system for you, as far as I know.
Some disadvantages that I am aware of include Amazon wanting a high percentage of the sale price (30% I believe), although you could simply raise the price by 30% to help cover some of this.
Another disadvantage that I have read about is that Amazon apparently takes a few months to send your payment to you, although I have never had personal experience with this. If "right now" money is not what you are seeking then this likely won't matter.
Hope that helps, Dr. As I said at the beginning, that could just be a "start" to help you get the feel for marketing your sister's eBook. Good luck to you and her!
