Hi I am looking to advertise my new site that I opened. www.memberebook.comIt is a site that allows you to get unlimited access to thousands of ebooks for a low monthly fee. What would be the best way to do this?

Using a combination of Squidoo and PPC advertising is the best way to let people know about your website. I've used it with a lot of success!
With Squidoo.com you can post small articles called "lenses" for free. It can be a review of your website, your ebooks, or whatever. Best part is, Google picks up Squidoo posts really fast, so you're in the search engine quicker.
Combine this with some PPC advertising and you're good to go!
The reason for paying for ebooks even though you can find them anywhere for free is pretty much for one reason. It depends on the rights that you are given with those books.
For example, I have a website that I charge $8.00/month (http://www.profits4keeps.com), where I basically deal with only Unrestricted Private Label Rights. The reason for this is because with Unrestricted Private Label Rights you can download my books and then completely edit everything that you get with them to fit your own needs to start to make money with eBooks. The topics are wide in range from internet marketing, affiliate marketing, basic non-internet marketing related fields, etc. But I have over 60+ that you can download and call your own. There are graphics files, source codes and such.
With the free ebooks that you can download, you have to comply with the author's permissions to do anything you would like. That would be why you would pay for ebooks/programs.
I hope that this helps you out,
Jason Conway

To promote your ebook website you'll likely need about 3 - 6 months. The most important things you could do to search engine optimize your website are.
1. Exchange links with relivant and quality websites 2. Add new content to your website as often as possible (unique and related to your topic) 3. Wait.
Search engines will "sandbox" your site for about 4 -6 months (depending on who you ask). When this time rolls around you want to be ready with a site with strong inbound links, one way links, quality content, the right keyword density and new and fresh content.
All the best

Hi There, In regards to promoting your website, it does not take 3 to 6 months as some people have suggested. I got my new website from a ranking of 19 million to 863 000 in less than two weeks. Yes that's right! What I did was a lot of blogging whereby I wrote reviews about my website and its contents. Everytime I submitted to free classified ads websites I also took the link url and submitted to google. This way google found my website really fast. I get tons of traffic daily. I also used viral marketing which has worked very well for me. You may visit my website for more tips
