I'd like to sell my E-book worldwide on E-bay but to me E-bay is not clear on how to do this. I've got an email into E-bay but was thought someone might know the answer here too.
I sell via "digital download" with E-bay but I don't think that automatically puts me into selling worldwide with them because when I went to the Australian site for E-bay and looked in the category where my E-book is listed (at the US site) it's not there. I did a search with keywords and my listing did come come up. But because it's "featured" I would really like it to be featured there also.
In the instructional tutorial at Ebay for going "worldwide" it says to change your "shipping preferences" and "select worldwide", however with a digital download product you don't have "shipping preferences". Curious if anyone knows if you can sell worldwide via digital download? And maybe how?
Thanks!

dz9nr1;
I'm not that familiar with eBay practices but when eBay talks about marketing world wide, I think they are saying you should indicate that you will "ship" world wide in the "Shipping Preferences". Unfortunatly a potential customer in another country may only see your add if they choose to search eBay USA.
"Digital Download" on the other hand is still only offered in the USA and only shows up if someone searches eBay USA.

Hi Ron,
That's kind of a bummer that digital download is only available in Ebay USA. I never heard back from E-bay so thanks so much for your reply.

That is an interesting question. I hope that this will help you out... eBay has 4 major portions of it. there is the us, uk, au, and ca. in order for you to get noticed for your book on ebay the way that i am understanding it in your post, is that you have to be a member in all four of these categories. I know that sounds kind of silly but that is the way that it must be done to be searched on them.
The way to do this is (i do not know if you are familiar with turbo listing 2) to get on turbo lister 2 and when you set it up, it asks you which markets you would like to sell to. Just select all four categories. If you are registered in all 4 then it will automatically list your listing in all four. If you are not listed in all 4 then you may come up with an error. If this happens just go to the main url's for the four categories of ebay and register in them. I believe that you can do it with your same name in the us.
