I built a 31 MB ebook that I distribute via cd-rom. The reason this is so huge is because I have a video on it. Anyway, it takes 25-30 seconds to load after i insert the cd-rom. Is this because of the large video file or something else? Is there anyway to speed up the load time? I built it with version 4.22. It's a presentation disc for my Decorative Concrete Business. Thanks, -Jeff

Perhaps you should rethink how you construct your eBook. Activ E-Book does not provide security for video files anyway so there is really no reason to "embed" the video in your eBook. Just provide a "link" to the video from your eBook.
That way the "client" would quickly load the "eBook" and then click a link to open the video. *most people expect a delay if they know a video is opening.
