If someone purchased an e-book from me with a unique password, could they give the e-book and password to someone else? Or is the password somehow locked to their computer? Or is there some security that disables a person from passing on the e-book and password thus defeating the security of passwords?

Which password they need is attached to their computer
So if Alice tells Bob her password, it won't help Bob, as he will need a different one of the 1000 passwords
