Is there any way to change either the size or color palette?
Are there plans to allow greater selection in a future version of Activ-ebook?

After re-reading the post, I should specify that the reference is to Activ-ebook. Of course icons can be larger or smaller in size and contain more colors.
My question is because Activ-ebook is specific about the icon size being 766 bytes. Is this a limitation with Activ-ebook that it will only work with the basic window's icon in color and size? I'd like to increase the number of colors from 16 because it looks old style by today's standards.
If anyone is interested I found a nice program for icon editing that is both reasonably priced and easy to use. It is IconCool and can be found at: htp://www.iconcool.com

16-color icons are indeed the standard Active icon format. Attempts to use a 256 or truecolor icon simply fail.
Sunil is tracking the features requests, and I suspect the more votes, the more likely a feature will be included.
