I have read many posts regarding password protection. One that stands out as unresolved is the ability to have someone download your eBook with an immediate purchase and then in someway automate the password procedure.
As you may be aware the only way to do it is for someone to email you their password number and for you to email back the password.
After some thinking and trials (I am a programmer) I feel I have come up with a system to solve this problem. I have an ebook written with ebook compiler. I sell it online. Anyone can purchase it. It is password protected. Once a purchase is made, the ebook is downloadable and from within the ebook it is possible to connect to the internet and retrieve your password number. Because it only allows you to register your ebook once. You cannot transfer the ebook to another machine and then download a new password number.
I have tested the system reasonably extensively and found it to work quite well.
If their is enough interest I will make the system available for a modest cost through an ebook.

As many of you are aware catching the impulse buyer and automating the sales process has not been possible thus far.
