The subscription form works perfectly on the web page but when I load it into the Activ compiler the resulting form produces an error message. Such as: the firstname field was not filled in.
The page's preprocessor is on.
What else should I look at? ..... please.

I've posted a zipped activ project with a form or two here:
Hi! I've been trying to make an HTML form, and it works well when run on my browser. However, when compiled with Active E-book Compiler, the form appears, but for some reason, I cannot type into the form fields. (There is a blinking cursor on the position of the first character, but when I try to type something with my keyboard, nothing happens.) I've downloaded the .zip file as suggested by Alaska. The same thing happened. It works fine in my browser, but when compiled, the fields don't want to accept keyboard input. Note: My preprocessor is on.

Does the included output file 'FormVariable2.exe' also misbehave in the same manner?

Hi, Alaska! Thanks for the quick response.
The FormVariable2.exe file works fine now. I finally was able to figure out what was wrong. It was my Windows operating system that was misbehaving. After trying just about everything (including re-installing Activ E-Book Compiler), I tried re-installing Windows... and voila! Everything worked fine. My guess is that my Internet Explorer had a corrupted file or two.
