I built a 2 page book for testing purposes and when I click the build button everything works just fine. It makes the book and everything. However, once I click on the book I saved a little box pops up that states "created with Activ-Ebook compiler". BUT nothing opens... I created an index.htm page. I used word 2000 to create the pages and I saved them as webpages but still nothing when I click on the created book. Please help

You might look at the earlier posts on this forum page with the 'L' (indicating 'Locked') button icons: pretty much everything that can be said about the subject can be found there.

No problem. Here it is, quoting previous posts from Sunil and me (myself?)...
If you need a sample project to compile and run, download this file and unzip it to it's own directory.
Delete or move the compiled ebook output that already exists, and see if you can create another. Double-click on the .aep file to open Activ, and click compile.
If it doesn't compile, perhaps you have an install problem.
Here are Sunil's instructions about reinstalling after uninstalling and deleting the ANS2000.INI file, and the last word...
" The most common cause of the compiler refusing to work at all is corruption in the installation, ANS2000.INI file etc. Nine times out of ten, this will fix it:
1. Uninstall the compiler 2. Delete ANS2000.INI 3. Reinstall
While I am not accusing anybody of anything, the most common cause for these types of corruption is using a crackz/warez/illegal-key generator, etc. All of which are illegal and a violation of our (Answers 2000 Limited) copyrights.
If you purchased the compiler and are getting these types of problems, email us with:-
1. Your full name (or name on credit card used to purchase) 2. The date of purchase, approximate if not known exactly 3. ClickBank receipt number for your purchase 4. If you are missing 2 or 3, include country, and if USA, state.
"
...and that's about it.
