Hi! i have been having this problem for awhile now and it "seems" to be mainly with XP users. It seems that about 15 % or more of the people who are purchasing the ebooks have a problem of either ... Corrupted files or that when they try to double click on ths icon it tells them it isn't supported in a valid win 32 application. Some people eventually are able to open it by playing around with settings etc but I am getting some very upset people who cannot open the ebook therefore I'm having to refund. Any ideas/help as to why this may be happening. I know that sometimes an ISP may "burp" in a download etc but most of the complaints are really that it won't let them open the program. Also - a few people are getting internal errors and their computer shutting down when attempting to open the file.
I seem to be spending alot of time trying to help these people figure out what is happening and how to open but in at least 75% of the cases - I am needing to refund money.
We are on a UNIX server... most people can download and view ok. And I am using EBook Compiler for these.

I'm wondering if anyone replies to posts here or if the author offers any help? I am losing money having to refund people almost everyday for the ebooks they are buying because they can't open them.

Hello
Yes we reply. You can also email us at webmaster@ebookcompiler.com
With all due respect: You haven't really given us anything specific to go on... other than you have any unspecified error in unspecified circumstances on unspecified PCs which can be solved by taking unspecified actions
Did you get these people to check the size of the file?
Did you get these people to check the file name for the download ends in .EXE?
Did you download from and check your own web site?
