A customer asked me what happens if she opens my e-book from it's server location: will anything be installed on her computer? The ebook is not password protected.
(she is blind and wants to make sure the ebook won't interfere with her speech synthesis software)
Thank you -

While when she clicks the link to the EXE file, it should download to her computer, or offer her the chance. Then when the EXE runs, it runs on her PC
So yes it should install
I do not believe it should interfere with her speech software, but I can NOT absolutely guarantee this, as I have no idea what software she might have or what it does.

Thank you!
Meanwhile, she took a chance and installed the ebook. It was OK, she can easily use it: her speech synthesis program reads it aloud for her, and enables her to click the links.
