What's going wrong with the upload? Do you get an error?

Make sure you upload the EXE file shown in the output tab
Remember file names on most web servers are case sensitive
Make sure FTP set to binary mode
If using Windows NT/2000/XP for your web server, make sure EXE files are put in folders which don't have execute permission

Well, no matter what I do, the EXE file is not found on the server. Perhaps Sunil can tell me how to put EXE file in folders which don't have execute permission. I am not well versed in this matter. Why the instructions along with the Active E-Book programme cannot be written in plain language, so that mortal being also understand it. I do have some experience with the Internet and Homapaging. But I still can not execute your programme. Sorry for this comment.
I didn't test the download, but that's the basic problem

My efforts to build eBooks has landed me in a curious situation. My Website with the links to my eBooks is funtioning with the AOL but not with my other server Campuserve. What could be the reason and how to solve this problem?

You're not giving us enough to go on, post the links
Some free web space providers don't allow large files and/or EXE files to be downloaded and/or uploaded. So this could be the issue - but it might not be - not enough info to tell

The problem is quite simple. I have uploaded a number of eBooks to my Website (www.fazlibooks.netfirms.com). Whereas they can be opened and downloaded on the AOL, they cannot be opened on my second server Compuserve. There they can only be downloaded. The visitor can practically not see for him or herself what is he or she is being asked to download.

Visitors are requested to go to my Website and try to open the eBooks. I will be grateful for any feed-back whether or not it is possible to open my eBooks.
