Hello all, I have created a lot of craft ebooks and now I have had a request to make them compatable with a Mac. Can anyone tell me how to do it, do they just need to run a pc emulator, if so which one. Or can a Mac just run the ebooks a normal?
I'm ok at doing the ebooks but as a newbie to ebookcompiler so thigs are a bit beyond me.
Thanks in advance.

I think (and I may be wrong - Sunil will put us right if so!) that Mac's can't run Windows .exe files. PDF is the format that will run on Win and Mac, but Activ Ebook will only create Windows format .exe files.
For PDF you have either to buy the Adobe PDF Creator, or try one of the cheaper alternatives. Ask in the "Other Compilers" forum if you're thinking of creating PDF for advice on what people have used.

That's right, MAC's can't run exe. files. PDF is the best way to go for them. One woman I know zips her HTML pages for MAC users, but when I tried that, it just came out a mess.
WordPerfect 10 has a PDF convertor built in, and I've been using it happily. You can go to the Adobe web site and sign up to use their convertor three times for free. I was seriously thinking of subscribing to the paid version of the service, which was about $10 a month. But---I probably wouldn't be using it every month, and it only converts up to 100 pages. That might work for others, but I'm doing fiction as well as non, and 100 pages doesn't come close to what I need. The WP solution is great.
I was also lucky enough to have a friend give me an older copy of Acrobat. Which makes my life easier still for the picture books. I have used other PDF convertors, and the results varied.
I bought the WP program online for a reasonable price, btw. Didn't pay hundreds. Not even close.
