I just created an ebook and selected the installation option for the icon of 'on the start menu'. The first time I actually ran the .exe file the pop-up window appeared and I clicked yes. Everything worked great.
Then I had to go back and re-compile to add more content. Before doing so I went to the start menu, right clicked on the icon for the .exe and selected 'delete'. I also deleted the .exe file in my output folder.
I then compiled the new exe but when I run it for the first time it does not ask to place the icon in the start menu. The option is still selected as well.
What is happening?
thanks

EBookCompiler
It only prompts the very first time that ebook is run on the PC. This is why
If you want to force it for testing purposes, load the project, do New ESBN and then Build/Run it.
