Say I select the feature where the user can only have access to my ebook for a certain amount of days. What prevents him from re -downloading the ebook again after the time trial has ended and using it until that time period is over?

It counts from the first time the ebook is run on that PC. Deleting the ebook EXE will not delete the countdown.
