I am trying to put a reference work on a CD using this compiler. I have read thru all the forum topics to try and get as much info as I can before I actually run the e-book, but I'm a bit confused about file sorting, maybe I missed the discussion, if so, please excuse the redundancy. First, how does the way files are initially placed in the "Source" folder (usually alphabetically) affect the output? In my reference there's an average of approximately 10 links on each page linking to either images or other pages. If I run the compiler with the files still in alpha order, what affect will this have on the output? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated, and will also probably elicit more questions.
Thanks; Dave

Items affected by the order of the pages in the Files tab (default sorted by title, but you can reorder using the blue arrows in the toolbar) - System Generated Table Of Contents if enabled - List of Pages in Table Of Contents popup list if enabled - Order of pages when do Next/Previous if enabled

Sunil: Thanks for the quick response. Sometimes I can be a bit slow about things, so if I'm understanding correctly, if I don't activate the Table of Contents or "Next/Previous" (which I shouldn't have to do since everything is done w/html links), then the order of files in the source folder makes no difference.
Thanks; Dave

More specifically you want to deactivate the Table Of Contents (Edit User Interface) and/or make your own table of contents (edit system pages)
