By the grace of God, I have managed to upload my ebook to my site, myself. However, not without problems, and so it is still a task incomplete.
The first time, it seems I uploaded the file and the compiler together... )
Then the second time, I got the right file uploaded and recalled that it needed to be in binary so I was sure I had it done correctly.
So, I made a link to the file on my web page and it downloaded fine, but the file was not supported by win--- (I'm sorry I don't know what number was there after win and I deleted it, since it seems I am accumulating an awful lot of files with similar names with respect to the ebook and it's confusing.) The icon for the book is a blue and white monitor which my system (windows 98) generated.
I'm going to try another approach, but it would be very helpful if someone could shed some light on this part of the project.
Thank you in advance, Cheryl

I was able to fix the problem. With Cute FTP, there are three mode choices. One is "auto" and that's the one that worked, instead of binary. Kevin, if that was also your problem, you might try that, too.

Hi Cheryl
My problem is different - I cannot get the compiled exe to run on my own PC ie I create the exe via e-book build and cannot run the generated exe locally.
It may have something to do with IE settings (I am using IE 6.02) But since there is no help available I am totally stuck.
Maybe time to check out alternative software packages, maybe one with a built in browser or one that at least provides some kind of support
Yours
Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Usually there is someone around to help. There must be something keeping them busy, but usually they are here for questions/answers. Hang in there.
I understand your problem is different than mine and I hope you get some help to figure it out.
Best, Cheryl

EBookCompiler
Kevin I believe your installation is corrupted.
Uninstall the compiler Delete ANS2000.INI from Windows Reinstall the compiler
