Is there a published API for automation of the Activ E-Book application? I would like to custom assemble eBooks on the fly based upon responses provided by visitors to a website.
Once I collect all of their "profile" information, I would dynamically build a source directory, and move the required source files into that directory.
Lastly, I'd like to use COM/DCOM (or if not available a command line call to Activ E-Book Compiler to build a book with a specified name in a specified location.
Is this possible? If not, have you considered adding the feature? Thanks for your thoughts...

EBookCompiler
No there isn't an API for this. The API is limited to adding new commands to the scripting etc.
The license also specifically forbids using the compiler on a web server
Something like this might be possible in future, with a separate program, but we don't have it now.
