Hello Active E-Book Compiler fans! I have found a script which allows customers to pay via ClickBank or PayPal and then issues a password automatically after cross checking with ClickBank secret code or PayPal IPN. All data is saved to a database. Most pages are generated with CGI, so hackers can't find the download address or look at any password lists. Customers are given a PIN code and can retrieve passwords at any time. Sorry if this sounds like an ad, but I thought it justified - if it helps authors protect their work.

This sounds great, Any opinions, Sunil, or others? Can you compare this with other ways of getting the same thing done? What options do we have for security, payment, downloading etc.?
I am almost done with my book, am ready to buy a compiler, but I don't have a clue as to how to make things happen!!

Hello Frank I've tried a few different compilers, but Active E-Book Compiler has impressed me with the variety of ways it can be set up + the reasonable price! The copy protection is good too. It's easy to set up and you have control over a lot of the parameters which is not possible with some other compilers. Plus there's this forum which helps a lot if you have any questions!
