why doesn't the scan function scan the subdirectories too??

i have an ebook that i want to compile but it's actual structure involves multiple sub folders, for orginizational purposes so what i want to know is if there is a way to make active ebook compiler scan for sub directories and the files within the subdirectories...if anyone has any insight on this sort of issue, i'd appreciate any info.

The current version is limited to a single folder, no nesting
You can either fix the links manually, or you can use the FLATDIR utility to produce a flatten copy of a directory structure which you then compile into an ebook (email me at webmaster@ebookcompiler.com if you need this program). Be aware FLATDIR is not perfect, and won't necessarily fix everything, but some people find it helps
