forgive me for a simple question. I have a book ready to go. It will be 5kbs long.
Therefore to send it email will be a pain for everyone. What is the trick to have it on my website to be clicked to download? I tried it by putting the exe on my server but how does the user get it down to his/her PC?

Just upload it to your web site using FTP, set to BINARY mode. Make a note of the file name, and add a link on one of your web pages
Normally that's it. If your web host uses Win NT or 2000 for hosting, and it refuses to download, you might need to ask them to create a directory with Execute permission turned off, and put your download there.
