I have read the post concerning using PHP for automatic password generation. But I seem to be getting more confused now!
When someone orders from my site, they get taken to a Thank You page. According to the php script shown here, it talks about "Buying" a password. But if they are at my Thank You page they have already paid. Confused!
Also, if someone has the url for this Thank You page, can they not just give that url to their friend, send them the ebook to install and that person can then get access to a password? What is stopping them from doing this?
Another question I have is can you stop someone from using Ctrl+C to copy text from the ebook?

The process is this
1. They download the trial version from your site before they pay
2. They click the link. This takes them to a SALES page. Which tells them how much they will pay etc.
3. After they pay, they are taken to a THANKYOU page, Which tells them the password
The version I posted was pretty unsophisticated as an example. A more sophisticated (read complicated) script could include additional features to protect the thank you page from unauthorized access
